from what I've played I really like it so far and the control's feel smooth
The one main issue I have with the game is the performance which I hope gets fixed in the next demo. Even with the lowest settings, the game buffers a lot and can barely stay at 30fps.
Edit: My game is soft-locked and idk what to do
Solid gameplay. Unfortunately can't play it well on my lower end machine, but I assume that's being worked on lol. Overall a really fun ride! Can't wait to play the next demo!
this looks amazing.
can you add subtities please? because I am deaf.
Sonic Horizons is a work-in-progress open world fan-project, obviously inspired by Sonic Frontiers. Built from scratch using a custom framework, Horizons attempts to take the open-zone formula that Frontiers established and expand on it in a different direction, focusing on more physics-based platforming and parkour/acrobatic movement, opening the gateway to forge your own experience
The game features a unique traversal system that both builds upon the strengths of the previous games and introduces new mechanics to enhance your movement.
Sonic's base kit revolves around his spin abilities, including rolling, spindashing and bouncing, all three playing a key in how fast you can go. A homing attack can be used to redirect all of that speed towards an enemy and help you launch off somewhere else. But Sonic isn't just capable of running on ground. With the help of Tails' specially engineered Magnet Shoes, Sonic can now run up and parallel to metallic surfaces, allowing you to wall-run and hop between walls, aswell as be skillful and fly upwards or sideways with enough speed
